Police announced on Saturday that they had arrested two people, including choreographer-dancer Kishor Aman Shetty, who were allegedly trying to sell the banned drug MDMA, also known as Ecstasy.

According to officials, a motorcycle, two mobile phones and one worth of MDMA were seized during the operation, adding that a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) had been registered.
Shetty was a participant in the popular dance reality show “Dance India Dance” and was also part of the Bollywood film “ABCD: Any Body Can Dance”, sources said.
Meanwhile, the Central Crime Control Department (CCB) of Bengaluru police arrested two foreign nationals who were allegedly involved in drug trafficking and seized 134 ecstasy pills (MDMA) and 25 LSD strips worth 10 varnishes. of them in the city.
Based on reliable information, on Friday CCB criminals arrested Nonso Joachin (36), a native of Nigeria, and Traori Ben (25) from Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire), the CCB said in a statement.
Two mobile phones, two two-wheelers, by the way, were seized from them.
According to the CCB, they came to India on a medical visa and engaged in illegal activities in violation of passport and visa rules.
