[SpoilerSpinning Bachelor in Paradise !]
This season of Bachelor in Paradise proved to be an epic ride from start to finish. And while we saw several couples get engaged at the end, the most intriguing (and possibly most compatible) duo turned out to be Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Unglert. Miller-Keys had a rough start in Paradise as her past with Blake Horstmann brought a lot of emotions to the screen. But after Unglert entered the beach, she began to fall for him, though others warned her that he would most likely break her heart.
We know that Miller-Kees and Ungulrt eventually made things work, but their journey to Paradise was certainly not easy. And Ungulrt recently mentioned in his podcast that leaving Miller-Keys initially on the show turned out to be pretty good for him. Here's what he said.
Originally Dean Ungalrt left Bachelor in Paradise without Kailyn Miller-Keys
Kaelin Miller-Kees fell hard and fast for Dean Ungulrt when he first arrived on the beach – but from the beginning they were not on the same page. Miller-Kees hoped to find lasting love on the show while Unglert enlisted his help! I Suck At Dating… podcast that he was really right in Paradise for a fun time. For this reason, he threw away Miller-Kees when he realized that they were becoming more serious than he was comfortable with. Wonglert eventually left her in tears at his birthday beach, even after giving him his rose.
Miller-Keys was heartbroken to see Unglurt go, but she tried to continue with Connor Saelly. Unfortunately, Saeli has never had a chance, as Unglurt realizes his mistake and returns to Paradise to ask Miller-Keys if she will leave the show with him. "I can't tell you exactly what will happen next, but I know I want to try and I want to find out and I want to be with you," he said. From there, she reluctantly agreed.
Unglert says that leaving Miller-Keyes worked 100% in his favor.
Although Unglert regretted his decision to leave Miller-Keyes behind, he noted in his podcast that he had in fact worked for the best. "It's ridiculous to say that because it worked out perfectly. It couldn't have worked out better for me, "noted Unglurt.
Part of the reason he's happy he jumped on Paradise for a little while, so he didn't have to attend the wedding of Chris Randone and Crystal Nilson, who he really didn't want to go to. "Not only that, many of my experiences were at this wedding that I just didn't want to see."
In addition to the wedding, Ungulrt was also happy that Miller Kees needs to explore a new relationship with Connor Saelie. "So I shouldn't have liked … worrying about my feelings while I might "It literally blew my mind how the stars had just aligned for all these things."
The two seem to be pretty good outside Paradise
When Unglert returned to Rai wasn't sure if Miller-Keys would go with him – but he noted in his podcast that he had a production deal that he said he wouldn't be allowed to re-enter the beach if come back. Fortunately, Miller-Kees was still experiencing the lasting feelings he wanted to see. Both are doing better than ever.
Miller-Kees and Unglurt even created a video showing what their life is like outside the Unglurt van. And Unglert also mentioned in his podcast that the two are committing to a two-year plan for mobile phones. "We have made the biggest step I have taken in a single relationship," Unglurt said of the situation over the phone.
It seems that Ungulrt and Miller-Keys are very happy together, despite past turmoil. Congratulations to the happy couple!
