Regular travelers probably do not associate the idea of sales and low fares with a carrier like Delta Airlines, which is more in the cart of a low-cost brand like Southwest, which offers quick tariff sales on a regular basis. Nevertheless, this is exactly what Delta is doing right now – selling tickets with deals that start at just $ 97, though they come with some important catches.
One is that you only have until September 25 to lock one of these rates. Just as important to know: These are Delta's Basic Economy Tariffs, a classification that leaves a few things on the chart. You will be assigned a check-in location, for example, and will remain in the last upload group, and thus you will probably need to check your luggage.
If you can handle these limitations, though, there are some great deals. In most cases, these are fares that are for trips occurring between October and February 2020, and the deals include a $ 97 return trip to a major Atlanta-Nashville economy; a $ 99 round trip offer between Los Angeles and San Diego; an offer for $ 1
The complete list of discounted routes and fares can be found on the Delta sales website. Of course, just because the tariff, which is reduced here, seems quite low, does not mean that you will not find a comparable offer elsewhere – one that may also have some advantages, such as the previous upload that you were denied through this sale of Delta. Speaking of these major cost savings here, resourceful travelers should be able to easily get around them by using certain co-branded credit cards that offer fins such as early boarding, baggage allowances and the like.
If you decide these deals are worth it, though, remember – you only have a few days left to make a decision, as ticket sales are only good until Wednesday.
