Publishes an extensive report detailing social media posts by Republicans who voted against certifying the results of the Electoral College in the 2020 presidential election.
The nearly 2,000-page report documents posts on social media platforms just before the Nov. 3 election and the Jan. 6 uprising on Capitol Hill.
The report highlights a lack of trust between Democrats and Republicans on Capitol Hill, as critics say comments calling into question the credibility of the November election helped fuel the deadly riots in January.
Federal investigators are also reportedly investigating communications between lawmakers and insurgents before the uprising.

“Like the previous one President TrumpDonald Trump, appointed by the US State Department, arrested in connection with the Capitol intelligence community investigating links between MPs, Capitol rebels Michelle Obama strikes “guerrilla action” to “restrict access to the ballot box”, any elected member of Congress who supported and incited the uprising or incited the attack posed a serious threat to our democratic government. They would take their oath and be involved in the same constitutional provision quoted in the impeachment article, “she wrote.” This provision prohibits anyone who has previously taken the oath of office as a member of Congress from upholding the Constitution but subsequently engaged in an uprising or riot from service in Congress. “
“Any appropriate disciplinary sanction is a matter not only of the Constitution and the law, but also of the fact,” Lofgren continued. “Many of former President Trump’s false statements were made in a very public setting. Did members make such public statements in the weeks and months before the January 6 attack?”
“Statements that are readily available on the public stage may be part of any consideration of Congress’ constitutional prerogatives and responsibilities.”
The report covers the posts of 120 Republicans in the House, including several leading allies of Trump.
In an underlined comment, Representative Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), President of the House of Commons, posted on Twitter on November 5: “The integrity of our elections is on the line and Americans need maximum transparency and accountability from state and local officials. “

Brooks pioneered Parliament’s efforts to object to the Electoral College’s results.
After election day, Trump and his Capitol Hill allies were quick to argue without evidence that widespread fraud cost the former president a second term, although almost every lawsuit aimed at discarding the results of some swing states was dropped for lack of evidence or reliability
