It is not yet known where the project will end with several studios wanting to go up, according to Deadline.

The Bombay-born Banerjee moved to Southern California, where he bought a troubled club in Los Angeles and began offering women’s mud wrestling and male exotic dancers.

His “only for women” nights proved to be a huge hit and in 1979 the Chippendales were born.

His business partner Paul Snyder was married to pinup model and actress Dorothy Stratton, and she suggested that male dancers wear collars and cuffs.
