South Carolina health officials reported 4,576 new cases of coronavirus on Saturday.
Officials said these new cases increased the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 320,105.
52 confirmed deaths were reported, along with 12 probable deaths, resulting in the death of the state to 5,267 people.
DHEC officials said new cases were detected in 15,046 individual test results, a positive percentage of 30.4%.
Greenville County is leading the state in new cases, with 723 new confirmed cases.
Hospitalizations dropped slightly to 2,383 people hospitalized with coronavirus.
As of Saturday afternoon, the SC DHEC website reported that the state had received 323,900 doses of coronavirus vaccine and 91,689 doses had been given.
