Diablo IV will also introduce Amazon and Paladin at launch, an older rumor than earlier claims this year.
Back in July this year, a Redlight user called "Gorelight" posted a leak of Diablo IV on Diablo's subblod and as it turns out, a lot of information from that "leak" actually turned out to be correct. "I am one of the first people to see Diablo IV behind closed doors and I know that many are eagerly awaiting details and blessings about what's the next big thing in the Diablo universe / franchise," Gorelight wrote 4 months ago. "Obviously I can't give my credentials or who I am, other than the fact that Diablo IV was finally shown to some of the Blizzard staff. Take what it is for, I don't care if you believe it or not, as I really have nothing to gain from it. With that said, this is Diablo IV and what will happen in the near future. ”
Blizzard officially announced the Blizzcon 2019 Diablo IV earlier this month. The game will have a much darker tone than Diablo 3, and its visual style is more in line with Diablo 2. In addition, the new installment of Diablo will have a combo system and will include three classes when launched – the barbarian, the sorceress and the druid. If Gorelight leaks earlier this year, the fans will be able to enjoy two more classes at launch – Paladin and Amazon.
Paladin, barbarian, sorcerer, amazon and druid are scheduled to launch with more coming later. Blizzard wants people to feel like Diablo II at first, but in a whole new era of franchising. Blizzard also discussed whether to include the Druid or Necromancer class when launching Diablo IV. Blizzard decided to put Druid to release Diablo IV and Necromancer later, since Necromancer was already released for Diablo III.
The Gorelight leak includes some interesting other goodies, including the claim that the beta of Diablo IV will launch next year. Diablo's next installment is said to be launching on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett. As Blizzard announces that Diablo IV will be coming to PC and current generations of consoles, we may be looking at a cross-generation title. Of course, since the game is probably far from being released, it is also possible to release the game only to next-generation consoles.
Please take the information above with quite a pinch of rock salt, as not all the details of these leaks seem to be correct and Blizzard has not yet confirmed the additional classes.
