Disney has apparently developed numerous deals to bring back much of the MCU at launch.
A new Twitter thread from the official Disney + account lists a number of new Marvel titles that will be available for streaming at launch. He explains why there are now a few more Marvel titles on Disney + from what the company announced less than a month ago. On October 14, Disney announces that The Iron Man The Iron Man 3 Thor: The Dark World The Avengers: The Age of Ulthron Ant-Man
] and Captain Marvel will be available at Disney + in the US at launch.
Then, last week, Disney announced Avengers: Endgame will be available at Disney + one month earlier than expected, moving from December 1
Rights problems are complex. Therefore, seven installments of the Skywalker saga will be available for streaming on Disney +, but not Star Wars: The Last Jedi . Like Black Panther and Infinite War it is tied to a deal with Netflix. Star Wars: The Force Awakens is only on Disney + launch, because Disney has a deal with Starz. Disney has confirmed to The Verge that it will launch a one-off promotional offer for Starz that will appear during the Disney + sign-up process in exchange for The Force Awakens . He also explains why The Incredible Hulk which debuted in 2008 after Iron Man won't be at Disney +; it is still owned by Paramount.
But who knows – never say never. Maybe The Incredible Hulk will be there someday.
