The Democratic National Committee (DNC) said in a new lawsuit this week that it is likely to be targeted by Russian hackers after the mid-term elections in November.
Submission was made late on Thursday. an undermining campaign on November 14th. DNC suspects that the Russian hacking group Cozy Bear organized the operation.
Cozy Bear is one of two groups linked to the Russian intelligence services alleged to have hacked DNC at the 2016 election.

The Russian government has consistently refused to hack DNC.
A source with direct knowledge of the experience told CNN that hackers were being presented as a State Department Officer for the attack. A PDF document is included in the eavesdropping campaign that will give hackers access to the user's computer systems if they are open.
So far, there seems to be no evidence that the mid-term hacker campaign has been successful.
