It has been eight years officially since Prince William and Kate Middleton tied the knot in what turned out to be a magnificent ceremony at Westminster Abbey. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge would share three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – and after all these years, their marriage is still stronger than ever. But a recent photo suggests that William and Kate have always been destined to be together.

A Look Back at the Engagement of Prince William and Kate Middleton

William and Kate met while attending St. John's University.
Andrews in the early 2000s. The couple immediately made friends with
university and things get romantic in their second year.

After graduating in 2005, William and Kate publicly announce their romance, though they experience a lot of ups and downs in the coming years. This included a public split in 2007, which fortunately lasted only a few months.

Although it was some time before they got married, William popped up
the big question in November 2010. According to Hello
Clarence House Magazine issued a statement on November 16th
confirming the exciting news.

during a private vacation in Kenya. Prince William has informed
the queen and other close members of his family. Prince William has
also seek the permission of Miss Middleton's father, "the release said

The message had long awaited and confirmed that William was finally ready to take things to the next level. While many royal watchers considered it a fairytale romance, a recent photo suggests that the pairing was decades in the making.

Where is William and Kate destined to be together?

A photo was recently posted on Twitter showing that there is
a connection between Kate's family and the royal population since at least the 1960s.

The image in question shows Kate's grandfather standing next to Prince Philip as he exits the plane on the runway. The black-and-white photo was snapped in 1962. Although Kate's grandfather is apparently one of the pilots on the plane, royal observers are convinced that this proves her fate was "written in the stars" about 40 years before she set his eyes on Prince William.

"This is Kate's grandfather, Peter Middleton, with Prince Philip in 1962. The family relationship was written in the stars 40 years before William and Kate met in 2002," reads one of the captions on Tweet.

It is not said how much he mixed with Philip, but there is
