Donald Trump is in touch with federal workers' food needs

The Trump administration hopelessly does not touch the struggles of federal workers

As the government closes its 35th day and 800,000 federal officials keep going without salaries, the nation's leaders continue to say very stupid things: Secretary of Commerce Proclaimed billionaire Wilbur Ross says he does not understand why workers will need help from food banks when they can just get loans. Meanwhile, Donald Trump believes people can just talk to local grocery stores to give them free food, which is almost as good as when you thought you needed ID.
