Elon Musk has a new idea of making Mars more habitable ̵
Since 2015, Musk has put forward the idea that placing fusion weapons over the ice caps of the Mars poles could warm the planet's atmosphere, with the potential goal of making it habitable for humans. His theory is that evaporation of water held at the poles would release CO2, which creates the greenhouse effect.

"It may make sense to have thousands of satellites of solar reflectors to warm Mars against artificial suns (tbd)," writes Musk. The artificial sun is how Musk relates to the theoretical flow of nuclear explosions caused by nuclear bombs.
However, Musk has not completely abandoned the nuclei. "Nuke Mars refers to a continuous flow of nuclear fusion over many atmospheric phenomena above the atmosphere to create artificial suns. Like our sun, this would not cause Mars to become radioactive," Musk says in a subsequent tweet . He also said that the method "is not a risky imo [in my opinion]".
Replacing nuclear yachts with satellites may not address some of the major problems facing Musk's dreams of terraforming Mars. A document published in Nature Astronomy last year concluded that Mars' CO2 release would not be sufficient to adequately transform its atmosphere for two reasons.
First, the researchers found that there was not enough CO2 trapped in the poles to produce a sufficiently intense greenhouse effect, and second, unlike Earth, the atmosphere of Mars was constantly lost, so that all the gases produced would slowly divert into outer space,
