Elon Titsla Tesla Pickup Truck Truck revealed just a few months while Ford impresses Joe Sixpack

Elon Muss has been asked on Twitter recently when the Tesla pickup truck will be unveiled. "We are close, but the magic is in the last detail. Maybe 2 to 3 months, "Musk said. The construction of a little slip for "Elon time", which suggests disclosure to happen before the end of October. However, confirmed observers of Muss, may put the date closer to the end of this year.

Muss has previously offered some very broad hints to the Tesla pickup, saying he will have a blade Blade Runner ] watch what you may not like at all. This remark led to endless speculation in social media.

Muc also hinted that it would be "better than the F-150" with a range of up to 500 miles and the ability to tow up to 300,000 pounds. This last part may be a little exaggeration, but Ford has just released a video last week on the prototype of its electric pickup truck that pulls a train weighing over £ 1m, so everything is possible.

The all-electric pickup truck is what really can tilt the scales in favor of electric vehicles, especially in the US where the pickup replaced the apple pie as America's most important symbol.

Msksk suggests that the Tesla pickup will start from under $ 50,000, which is important. These gargantuan pickups America is in love for sale for anywhere between $ 40,000 and $ 100,000, so Tesla's supply will be head-to-head with vehicles costing roughly the same money. In many cases, Tesla can actually sell for less money than its competitors on gasoline and diesel.

This Ford video mentioned above received an enthusiastic "Wow!" From my friend who drives the Ford F-150, which used to tow his trailer up and down the east coastline. Driving him to my LEAF gave him a hint of the joy of the momentary torque offered by the electric engines, but seeing something much like a truck parked in his driveway, pulling more than a million pounds, really provoked his interest.

A few days ago, he and his wife asked me what it is like to own and run an electric vehicle, how long it takes to charge, where chargers are located, and what it costs to pay an electric car. A year ago this conversation would not have happened.

The Tesla pickup – as it is called – is a straightforward right at the heart of the US car market. It can easily be that the car finally breaks the minds of American drivers and sends out major automakers that are scattered to behave in sailing. Electric pickups can very well mark a turning point when EVs turn into a major and dominate the automotive market.
