Schell’s Expect to Die game is the latest VR title that marks the huge success of Oculus Quest. The game, which launched through Facebook’s standalone handset last year, has sold nearly 100,000 copies of the platform, generating $ 2 million in revenue.
In September 2018, over six months before the launch of Quest, I expect you to die, it had generated $ 3 million in revenue through PC VR and PSVR headsets. The game came to PC in late 2016 and followed PSVR in early 2017. In other words, Quest reached two-thirds of this stage of revenue in 12 months, while these three platforms together took nearly 24 months to reach 3 million dollars.

In fact, UploadVR said that the Quest version of I Expect You To Die is the best way to experience the game. Schell Games is currently working on its next VR title until you fall, which is on Early Access for PC VR headsets with planned versions of Quest and PSVR.
The news comes days after Fast Travel Games confirmed that its debut VR game Apex Construct has surpassed 100,000 units sold on all platforms. The company said half of those sales were in its second year, which is around the time Quest launches.
