It was a great week for women in pop music. Selena Gomez has released "Lose You to Me Me" and "Look At Her Now." Taylor Swift celebrates 13 years with her debut album. The nominees for the American Music Award have been announced. And now two of these candidates have launched a collab. See below.
Face and Ariana Grande are two of the biggest musical acts of 2019
It's not getting much bigger than these two right now. Lizzo burst onto the scene earlier this year after years of making impressive music that seemed to be generally underrated. But no longer. Now she is in the midst of her tour Cuz I Love You Too and shows no signs of slowing down.
Speaking of an artist who never seems to rest, Grande surprised us with her 2018 album, Sweetener . But she didn't even have time to do more than a few gigs before releasing the single from her fifth album, Thanks U, Next who dropped out in early 2019.
Grande just finished European leg on her tour
Ever since Thanks U, Next has dropped out, Grande has been on it Sweetener World Tour performing songs from both albums. As if that wasn't enough, she also stabbed a boyfriend with Social House. She is also a producer and has written and sang many songs on the upcoming soundtrack to Charlie the Angels .
Yes, it's hard to keep up with Grande. She recently completed the European leg of her tour but will not "make it easy" for long: She is back on the North American leg on the second leg, which will end the tour in late December in Los Angeles.
Face has hit # 1
Face has been busy touring, but she has had many things to do. Her 2017 single "Truth Hurts" began to hit the charts earlier this year after being featured in the Netflix movie Someone Great . She is now No. 1 in the Billboard Hot 100 and is the longest-running female rap song to carry the honor (currently tied to Iggy Azalia's "Fantasy", but that may take it down the next day or so). However, Face also has some drama to handle. She was accused of plagiarism from two different sources. She recently settled with one of the accusers, who gave her credit for writing songs. The person's team filed a lawsuit against the other party in question.
Person has announced a collaboration on Instagram Live
But she does not allow this to be downloaded. A person took to Instagram Live on Thursday, October 24th to make a message. "How about something that falls out tonight. I'll tell you, 'she said, raising a glass of Starbucks. "If you can tell the size of this drink, you'll know what I'm talking about."
Grande confirmed this in her own Instagram Story, with a clip of her singing. She wrote: "We have a sweet little remix of good as hell coming to you tonight. thanks for thinking of me @lizzobeeating love you! "
Here's the remix of" Good As Hell "
A bit of background:" Good As Hell "was the lead single from EP EP (19459012] Lizzo 2016 Coconut Oil [19459013)]. It released two previous albums, but no has been touring, and Good As Hell marks the beginning of her breakthrough after being featured on the soundtrack to Barbershop: The Next Cut then Lizzo embarks on her Good As Hell Tour in June 2017
Now the song, which received new attention in 2019 after "Truth Hurts", has become big and fans have discovered Lizzo's new album and some of her older work has been revived. ff e this Grande comes after the second line. Then it adds its impressive vocals throughout the chorus and beyond. Hear above!
