Tell me if you’ve seen this one before.
You play Fall Guys: Ultimate knockout,, like everyone else, and the end is in sight after an eternity to jump over and fall off the stage. You can almost try your qualification at the next stage. But ho, what is this? One day in the form of beans waiting for you on the horizon, refusing to go to the big beyond.
You’re getting closer. They raise their hands in anticipation. You grab yourself and throw yourself aside, like old garbage. Maybe you completely fall off the stage. Suddenly you have to make the journey through giant rolling boards and bulldog fruit once again. Or worse, you are completely disqualified.
Yes, it seems that the mega-popular game of Mario Party of battle royale is full of trolls who want nothing more than to ruin your day. Usually this manifests itself in a biting accident on the road, but every so often someone will do so well in a circle that he waits near the finish line, only to cause more chaos. After all, their victory is almost unsecured ̵
Many people in Polygon have experienced this troll phenomenon or some version of it. I, for example, saw a lot of people just rejoicing in the finale because why the hell not? Based on the reactions on social media, it seems that we are not alone, noticing this trend:
Fall Guys … Hmmmmm, more like I’ll wait for the finale and catch you for no reason man

My favorite thing to do in Fall Guys is a whole lot of grinding just before the finish line.

Those people who give strong hugs to the finale (grabbing you) @FallGuysGame

Just eliminated in the Fall Guys by someone waiting at the top before the final to grab and push people instead of finishing. Let’s not be rude in this very good useful game of people !!!!

Summon a bodhisattva-like player waiting at the end of the Fall Guys course to try and take people and throw them off the level before they can cross the finish line

This, of course, should not be a surprise – the game myself is a giant troll in which nothing is ever guaranteed. And the purpose of the grip button is undoubtedly bad fun. But, so often, karma has its way and the person who thought he would style the whole lobby gets his help because he waited too long. Or sometimes someone managed to kill them. Beautiful.
All this to say, if you see someone waiting near the end at first glance for no reason, beware! And if You Sow the seeds of destruction, lest the gods of RNG betray you to your knowledge.
