Dressed casually in boots, jeans and sunglasses, Costner titled the photo: “Thank you for all the birthday wishes. Incredibly grateful for another trip around the sun.” Costner, who is also the frontman of country rock band Kevin Costner & The Modern West, looks calm and happy in the photo as he hums his guitar with his legs propped up.
Fans responded with thousands of messages with a “happy birthday” to the star.
“Happy birthday! Thinking of three of my favorite days of your day, Robinhood, Dancing with Wolves and Field of Dreams! Yellowstone is also a favorite! Cheers for many more years of life, love and doing what you love!” a fan wrote on Instagram.
