Spider-Man: Away from Home has a new scene in time for Labor Day's long weekend.
Today, Sony announced that a new extended cut of the film will be released again in cinemas in the United States and Canada on Thursday, August 29. The updated version features four minutes of never-seen action sequence and will be available in IMAX® and large formats at select locations.
As Deadline exclusively reports this morning, Far From Home has just passed Skyfall to become Sony's ever-growing top grosser worldwide.
The Sony / Marvel sequel opened internally on July 2. Its division is expected to reach $ 376 million domestic and $ 733 million at the international box office by Sunday.

The sequel introduces Tom Holland as a Web site. Zendaya, Samuel L. Jackson, Jake Gyllenhaal, Marisa Tomei and John Favreau also star in the film, directed by director John Watts.
