FDOH-Collier announces a COVID vaccine program for the week of January 18


FDOH-Collier has announced a schedule for the coming week for the COVID-19 vaccine.

The state distributes the Moderna vaccine to healthcare professionals in direct contact with patients and people aged 65 and over.

The next scheduled dates are Wednesday, January 20, and Friday, January 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., both days, at North Collier Regional Park Soccer Fields, 15000 Livingston Rd., Naples, FL 34109.

The meeting schedule will begin at 9 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18, ONLY online at CollierCountyCOVIDVaccines.Eventbrite.com.

This is a driving service and they ask you to arrive 1

0 minutes before the meeting time.

If you can’t make an appointment, you can join a waiting list. (Instructions below.)

Healthcare professionals in direct contact with the patient will be asked to provide an identity document indicating that they are healthcare professionals.

Face masks must be worn in vehicles while waiting.

No referral required and no costs. Customers will be asked to complete a registration form before receiving the vaccine.

The DOH-Collier call center will remain open Monday to Sunday from 9:00 to 17:00. The call center can be reached at (239) 252-6220.

The DOH-Collier will allow people eligible for the vaccine to join the waiting list. You can find the waiting list button by visiting the Eventbrite registration page. When you click sign up, you’ll see a list of sales dates in addition to the red button that says Join the waiting list.

To enter the Collier County Waiting List, go to this link, click the date you want to join the waiting list, click Register, and then click Join the Waiting List at the bottom. . FDOH told us that the waiting list is only for the date and time you register, not for future openings. You will receive an email if there is a cancellation and it is your turn to make an appointment, but keep in mind that you will only have 12 hours to view this email and respond.

As for the second dose of the vaccine, Collier County says expect an email 21 days after the first dose to make an appointment for your second.
