Tokyo fans fans festival of 2019 began today with a keynote address from game director Naoki Yoshida and the 90-minute briefing was full of news and insights about Shadowbringers' new expansion for Final Fantasy XIV, later this year. Maybe the biggest news was the announcement of a new job. The new job is a dancer

As the name implies, the dancer uses dance moves in a way to fight with his enemies. Dance performance performs certain abilities while some specific dance basses of nearby party members.

The dancer is a DPS duty, and his main hand is used to throw weapons. According to Square Enix he has no connected class and you can start using the Dancer at level 60.

Another huge announcement was the next Final Fantasy XIV – Hrothgar competition. Kit-like humanoids, Hrothgar will be available in male and female variants, with everyone having unique heads and personalized features. They also have two clans.

Also during the presentation, Square Enix showed two new cities – Crystarium and Eulmore. The Crystarium is a beautiful, spacious place with blue environments. Eulore is also a look at the top of a massive, richly decorated and stiff-looking structure. Square Enix also uses the news keyboard to unveil the latest Xanth Beast Tribe – the Dwarves. Not much information was shared, but the company confirmed that these dwarfs always have beards and always wear helmets – even on the table. They are experts in the field of mining and metallurgy.

  The new dancer
Another great news was the announcement of the next eight-player series. It is called Eden, and although little is known about the specificity, Square Enix confirms that none other than the legendary designer Tetsuya Nomura works as a hero and boss as a designer.

Shadowbringers launches on July 2, but an early access period begins on June 28, announced Square Enix. However, this was only a preliminary date, so it is subject to change.

  • New players' competitions – Hrothgar: The Hrothgar competitor compliments recently announced Viera as the second new race in Shadowbringers. Hrothgar and Viera will have unique, personalized features specific to their races. The Crystarium and Eulmore: Situated in Norvrandt, the former will play the role of a player, and the second – the rich, elite-run city will play a key role in the main story of Shadowbringers.
  • New Raid – Eden: This new high-end content will include many challenging bosses as well as a new hero, both designed The Bearded Dwarfs and "Eating Sin, Innocence.
