Fisher-Price and the Consumer Product Safety Commission today issued a product warning following numerous reports of infant deaths in a Fisher-Price product. The reports show that death has occurred when babies turn over into the product. As death continues to happen, the committee recommends that people stop using the product when babies reach 3 months of age or as soon as babies start to roll over. Officials in charge of fish price also warn people to stop using the product when infants start to roll over. Company officials have reported that reported deaths indicate that some people continue to use the product even after babies are able to roll and allow these babies in the product without using three-point belt restraints. the committee reminds people to create a "safe sleeping environment for babies, whether they use a nursery, a swing, a playroom or a sloping bedroom." The warning says that you never add blankets, pillows, stuffed toys or other items and always put babies so sleep on your back.
