Fortnite 10.20 Patch Notes: Borderlands 3 Crossover, Shield Bubble, etc.

Epic Games introduced another update for Fortnite. Patch 10.20 is already live on all platforms and, as usual, adds another new element to the bitcoin game, as well as something a little more unexpected: the Borderlands crossover. Here are the patch notes.

This week's update is the Fortnite X Mayhem event. Players can visit the Borderlands Pandora setting through a new Rift zone, which allows you to generate a shield if you are in the area long enough without causing any damage. There is also an assortment of finishing challenges and rewards with themed Borderlands unlockers, as well as a Borderlands Psycho Bundle cosmetics package to buy from the game store that includes Claptrap that you can carry on your back. The crossover event continues until September 1

0.

Also, this week brings a new throwable item called the Shield Bubble. As its name implies, it creates a protective bubble that lasts for 30 seconds and denies projectiles and explosives, although other players are still able to get through it. Shield Bubble can be found as loot on the floor or in chests, drop shipping and vending machines.

The patch rounding has some balance changes and adjustments. As Epic announced earlier, the controversial BRUTE swords were finally discouraged. The developer also activated the recent Junk Rift element after a problem with it, while Storm Flip, Drum Gun and Storm Scout Sniper Rifle are vaulted.

You can see all the changes and additions Epic has to Fortnite: Battle Royale below, while full patch notes can be found on the developer's website.
