Fox News signs veteran John Roberts on a new multi-year contract

White House Fox News chief John Roberts has signed a new multi-year deal with the network, with the former veteran of CBS News and CNN expected to continue covering the president, regardless of who wins in November.

“John is one of the best journalists in all the news. His extensive coverage, including decades of experience and exceptional journalistic skills in the White House and following the campaign in an unprecedented year, has contributed to the network’s unsurpassed political coverage at a crucial point in time.” Fox News Media CEO Susanie Scott said in a statement Tuesday. “We look forward to continuing to contribute for many years to come.”

Roberts, who joined Fox News in 201

1, called his Washington coverage role an honor.

“I am honored to continue to report on the latest news broadcast from Washington, and I look forward to serving our millions of viewers at home and across the country at this critical time,” the 63-year-old said.

Roberts has covered all the presidential elections since 1996, the network notes.

He made headlines earlier this month after appearing on Twitter to “punch” him to ask White House spokesman Kaylee McEnnany for a “final and declarative statement” that President TrumpDonald John Trump Nearly 300 former national security officials sign Biden’s letter to DC correspondent about Michael Reinol’s death: “People I know in law enforcement are extremely angry about this” Late in the evening, the hosts directed Trump to Biden in 97 percent of the cases in September: study more condemns the supremacy of whites and groups that support it.

“Why didn’t he say, ‘I don’t know who they are.’ Can you give me more information about them? “And then decide on that? So it’s all puzzling,” Roberts told Melissa Francis of Fox on Oct. 1.

“And for all of you on Twitter who fuck me for asking this question, I don’t care,” he said. “Because it’s a question that needs to be asked, and obviously the president’s Republican colleagues a mile away are looking for an answer.” So stop deviating. Stop blaming the media. I’m tired of that. “

Roberts once co-hosted CNN’s American Morning from 2007 to 2010 and was nominated for an Emmy Daily Award in his final year on the program.
