Actor Esme Bianco is suing goth rock icon Marilyn Manson, accusing him of sexual assault.
A federal civil lawsuit filed in a California court alleges that Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, committed numerous violent sexual assaults, rapes and other abuses during the years 2009 to 2013. He also accuses Manson, his Former Tony Siula’s manager and Ciulla’s management company for violating human trafficking laws by using fraud in the form of “job promises” that were known to be fraudulent and using “force and / or threats of force” to receiving unpaid work.
The lawsuit was filed because Manson is already under criminal investigation by California authorities. In February, Los Angeles County announced that Manson was being investigated on sexual assault charges after several women came out with public reports of violence or sexual abuse.
“Although we understand that criminal investigations are still ongoing, it is vital that we follow all possible ways to hold him accountable for the horrific acts he committed,”
Brianco-American actor Bianco is best known for Ross’s recurring role in HBO’s Game of Thrones.
“For too long, my abuser has been left out of control, thanks to money, fame and an industry that closes its eyes,” Bianco said in a statement.
“Despite the many brave women who have spoken out against Marilyn Manson, countless survivors remain silent and some of their voices will never be heard. I hope that raising mine will help stop Brian Warner from breaking more lives and giving opportunity for other victims to seek their own small measure of justice. “
In February, actor Evan Rachel Wood, Manson’s ex-partner, said she was “terrified”.
NBC News was unable to contact Manson.
Ciulla did not immediately respond to a request for comment from NBC News.
Manson’s latest Instagram post was a statement shared after Wood first went public with his claims in February: “Obviously my art and life have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent allegations are a terrible distortion of reality for me. My intimate relationships have always been in complete agreement with like-minded people. No matter how – and why – others now choose to misrepresent the past, it is the truth. “
