HBO’s long-awaited Game of Thrones, Dragon House, added another important cast member with the entry of Fabien Frankel.

Cole was a member of the Royal Guard for King Viserys I Targaryen (Paddy Considine), and this knight’s actions were key to the start of the Civil War.

He is a knight from Dorn Island, whom Martin describes in his blog as “the eldest son of Lord Blackhaven’s steward.”

“He has no claim to land or titles, all he has is his honor and his sword and spear skills. He is a challenger, a champion, welcomed by the general, loved by the ladies – added Martin.

“He is a lover (or is he?), A seducer (or is he?), A traitor (or is he?), A breaker of hearts and a creator of kings,” Martin concluded.

Frankel joins the cast, which also includes Emma D’Arcy as Princess Rainier Targaryen, Eva Best as Princess Rainier Velarion, Matt Smith as Prince Damon Targaryen, Olivia Cook as Alligent Hightower, Rhys Ifans as Otto Haynauer, Steve Tusain Asin Lord Corlis Velarion.

The series was created by Ryan Kondall (Colony) and Martin, created 300 years before the events of the Game of Thrones series, based on Martin’s accompanying novel “Fire & Blood” for 2019.

The series will tell the story of House Targaryen, who ruled Westeros hundreds of years before the events of the show.

Miguel Sapochnik and Kondal will be performers and executive producers along with Martin, Vince Gerardis, Sarah Lee Hess and Ron Schmidt.

Claire Kilner (The Alienist: Angel of Darkness, The Wedding Date) and Geeta V. Patel (Meet the Patels, The Witcher) will also direct the series, with Greg Yitanes (Banshee, House) directing and co-producing.
