Google makes it easy to return to the search box by clicking “https://news.google.com/”



Google has launched a new search shortcut that can quickly help you refine your results. Now that you’re on the results page, you can simply click “https://news.google.com/” to expand the search box. As noted by 9to5Google, the tech giant has started notifying users of the new shortcut in a box in the lower left corner that appears when you tap any key on the results page.

When using a shortcut, you will be taken directly to the search box, where the text cursor will appear next to your original query. The search box will even expand with suggestions for common searches related to the term you first entered. This makes it ideal for use when you want to review your initial search ̵

1; say, if you want to refine the results page so that it mostly shows links to pages for the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra instead of the non-Ultra version – despite that you can use “https://news.google.com/” for new search words if you wish.

Like 9to5Google notes, this feature joins the shortcut to access the Google Search tab. Clicking the tab button on the results page highlights links so you can open websites without relying on a mouse or trackpad.
