Night vision appeared on all Pixel phones in November, and the results came to a surge. It was compared to the iPhone XS during the launch of Pixel 3 and Google continues to take this photo with a new ad campaign.
Share this Evening from Product Marketing Vice President at Google, Using Comparison on the Same Scene. To the right is Pixel 3, and to the left is the name "Phone X".
The lower corner indicates that the image was captured with the iPhone XS, just like the previous 10/9 event comparison. The Google picture clearly shows neon green clothing until its face is impossible to understand on the iPhone. As is typical of Night Sight, the dark sky is light and gray with visible white steam.
With regard to lighting, the Google technique somewhat washed the background lighting, but if the purpose of the picture is to capture the main theme
did not play with Pixel 3, the night view was turned off by the original ad. A new ad at the end of November highlights the flaws in flash use and the benefits of using color balance machine training. Night Sight also combines a series of photos to prevent image blur and illuminate an image, which eventually remains sharp. It is particularly suited for billboards and other large print media, but can be part of a longer video. With the big promotional event, which is Super Bowl LIII next Sunday, Google can make a big hit during the Big Game.
