Google tightens security for Chrome autocomplete with biometric checks

Google has introduced several security tools to protect the financial information and passwords you save with Chrome AutoFill. One of them will allow you to verify your identity using biometric information, such as a fingerprint, whenever you want to use your credit card online.

Currently, AutoFill requires you to enter a CVC on your card each time you use it. But if you decide to turn on biometric authentication – it’s completely optional and can be found on the Chrome settings page ̵

1; just enter your CVC the first time you use a card. This can help prevent card loss or theft, as you no longer need to remove your CC in case you are in a public place. You can now rely on the feature to retrieve your card data in Chrome for Windows and Mac, and it’s coming to Android in the next few weeks.
