Gov. Ducey to deal with flu and flu vaccines amid pandemic Monday



PHOENIX – Governor Doug Ducey and health officials will hold a press conference Monday afternoon on flu and flu vaccines.

The press conference will be held at the Medical College of the University of Arizona at 3 p.m., according to the governor’s office.

During the press conference, Governor Ducey and other speakers will “announce further action to increase flu vaccination levels and call on Arizona people to get the flu.”

Influenza vaccines are now available, and several large pharmacies have introduced precautions for COVID-19 while administering the vaccines.

This will be Governor Ducey’s first appearance in more than a week. No press conference was held last week while Governor Ducey was a guest at the Republican National Congress.
