HARISBURG (KDKA) – Gov. Tom Wolfe and Dr. Rachel Levine have announced a new phased plan to distribute vaccines against COVID-19 in Pennsylvania.
So far, this is the fourth version of a vaccine plan from Pennsylvania officials.
According to Levin, the state has specified which health workers meet the requirements for phase 1A and has added phases 1B and 1C.
“This update aligns our plan with the latest ACIP and CDC recommendations,” Levin said. “Phase 1A is further defined to identify specific health care providers. Phase 1
Key workers in Phase 1B include public safety officials, financiers and bankers, members of the media, government officials and members of the judiciary, to name a few.
Phase 2 now includes all persons aged 16 or over who have not been covered by Phase 1.
