According to a report by Texas energy company Griddy, it is banned from participating in the state’s electricity market.
The Texas Electricity Reliability Council revoked Griddy’s rights to enter the U.S. electricity market on Friday for breaches of payments, Bloomberg reported.
Earlier, Gridy said he would challenge the prices set by ERCOT during the crisis.
The company recently came under fire for rising energy bills to $ 17,000 per customer during a deadly winter storm last week.
The company is at the center of a $ 1 billion lawsuit. The suit accuses Gridy of kissing and failing to protect her customers from astronomical energy costs.
