Grimes revealed that he had COVID-19, an experience he “strangely enjoyed” on drugs.
The Canadian singer and songwriter, whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher, shared her news on Instagram on Friday night, writing: “I finally got COVID, but I was strangely enjoying the dream of DayQuil fever. 2021. “
In November, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Grimes’ partner and the father of their 8-month-old baby, wrote on Twitter that he was “most likely” with COVID-19, comparing his symptoms to a “mild cold.”
Grimes, 32, has joined a group of celebrities who have battled the coronavirus, such as Sam Asgari (Britney Spears’ boyfriend), Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and many others.
In May, the couple welcomed their son, originally named X Æ A-12. “First of all, my partner is the one who actually, mostly, came up with the name … Yes, she’s great at names,” Musk told Joe Rogan the same month.
