While Rockstar himself has remained as tight as possible for just about anything, a lot is happening in the world of Grand Theft Auto these days.
First of all, GTA V is still surprisingly popular, even after nearly 8 years since it first launched for gamers there. Millions of people are still playing it, especially online, and there is no doubt that it will remain a successful title for a while longer.
After that, the upcoming GTA 6 occasionally titles, as Rockstar is expected to release the game at some point next year. More recently, the company has started hiring testers for a new version and this has led many to believe that GTA 6 is nearing completion.
In addition, people close to the issue previously suggested that Rockstar could release a new version of GTA this year, as the company has expressed interest in launching a standalone version of GTA Online. Last but not least, it will probably present a new version of GTA V for next-generation consoles, with sources indicating that ETA could be the second half of 2021
Since Rockstar says it works on all of these while we’re talking, of course, there’s no need to remake the original GTA: San Andreas can’t be talked about, no matter how many gamers out there actually ask for it.
And while the gaming community has no choice but to hope Rockstar makes such a remake, YouTuber Fat Dino decided to take matters into its own hands and create a version of GTA: San Andreas from 2021. However, it is worth knowing Fat Dino has not recreated the whole game, something that would obviously be impossible without an army of developers, but only the introductory cinema.
They used Unreal Engine 4, with hours of work spent recreating the map, modeling the CJ and restoring animations, to align with expectations of 2021.
You can see the result in the video below and if you are one of those hoping to see a live remake of GTA: San Andreas, be sure to send your feedback to Rockstar.
