Harry Potter: Wizards get together finally arrived – and start earlier than expected. The much-anticipated free game received an early start, as is often the case with mobile games, in the markets of Australia and New Zealand earlier this year, but arrived earlier in the United States and the UK. It was scheduled for release on these markets tomorrow, June 21, but it is officially on Android (through Google Play) and iOS devices (App Store). The mobile game was developed by the Pokemon Go Niantic manufacturer and revolves around a similar style of expanded reality-based game. As such, it requires an internet connection and some players have reported periodic problems throughout the day; if you can not log in, keep trying.

We recently started working with Harry Potter: Wizards Unite thought it looked much like a version of Harry Potter Pokemon Go, though with more content from the start. Right from the start, the game offers a variety of goals to complete and you can add other players to your friends list (a feature that did not come to Pokemon Go years after its launch). The game also features an RPG-style profession system that lets you unlock skills in skill trees. If you dive into the game and become familiar with Niantic's previous work, check out our Wizards Unite Pokemon Go Pokemon Go guide.
Wizards Unite launches in beta form in Australia and New Zealand last month. If you are interested in a closer look at the game, you can watch almost 15 minutes of beta gameplay footage in the video above.
