BOSTON – The Harvard Political Institute removed Elise Stefanick (RN.Y.) from its Senior Advisory Committee after last week’s deadly riots in the US Capitol, citing her baseless allegations of voter fraud in the November election.
“Elise has made public allegations of fraud with voters in the November presidential election, which have no basis for evidence, and she has made public statements about judicial actions related to the election that are incorrect,”
The school initially asked Stefanik to retire, according to Elmendorf. When the New York MP refused, the school removed her. Stefanic was among the 147 Republicans in the House who voted against certifying President-elect Joe Biden’s election victory.
