A large part of the United States is preparing for a hot wavewith record high temperatures expected in at least 14 different states. In some areas, heat has already proven lethality. Maryland officials say two people have suffered heat-related deaths this week.
Dr. Tara Narula told CBS Morning that people should look for a number of symptoms that signal heat-related diseases such as heat cramps. , heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
