Here’s everything new in Android 11 Beta 3 [Gallery]

With Android 11 Beta 3, Google is close to the public release of the latest version of its mobile OS. Today there must still be a handful of changes and we are following everything new.

In the coming hours we will dive into the new features of Android 11 Beta 3 and every single change. (The latest updates will be at the top of this list. Be sure to check back often.)

Power menu

The power button in the device controls is now on the right. The touch presents a large, almost the entire on-screen menu.

Media player in the settings for quick settings

There are three changes to the media player in Quick Settings. A small setting adds a separator between the fully deployed switching network and the audio notification, while you can now swipe your finger from the media signals. When the QS is fully extended, running a finger leads to the following preferences.

The next change introduces the “Hide player when media session is over” option, which is also available from: Settings> Sound> Media. Google notes that “the player allows you to resume a session from the advanced quick settings panel.
