With Android 11 Beta 3, Google is close to the public release of the latest version of its mobile OS. Today there must still be a handful of changes and we are following everything new.

The power button in the device controls is now on the right. The touch presents a large, almost the entire on-screen menu.
Media player in the settings for quick settings
There are three changes to the media player in Quick Settings. A small setting adds a separator between the fully deployed switching network and the audio notification, while you can now swipe your finger from the media signals. When the QS is fully extended, running a finger leads to the following preferences.
The next change introduces the “Hide player when media session is over” option, which is also available from: Settings> Sound> Media. Google notes that “the player allows you to resume a session from the advanced quick settings panel.
Android 11 Easter Egg
The first time you get the Android 11 logo, the Cat emoji will appear at the bottom. This activates Android 11 Easter Egg. Hold down the power button to access the device controls and tap the overlay menu on “Add Controls”.
Next, click “See other applications” in the lower left corner and you’ll see Cat Controls. Add all three and you will be able to move on to this Easter egg. By calling these smart devices for cats, cats will come to you through notifications that can be opened as PiP windows.

Access by going to Settings> All About Phone> Android Version and tapping the first item in the list several times. Hold the point in the circle and force it clockwise past the last outer point to display the orange “11”.
Android 11 allows exposure apps to launch without having to activate the device location setting. This addresses the user’s feeling that a “location” is needed.
