High levels of arsenic found in water bottles sold in Whole Foods, Target and Walmart: Study

Tests conducted by a nonprofit organization in California have found high levels of arsenic in two bottles of bottled water.

The testing was carried out by the Center for Environmental Health. The group found that Penafiel water and Starkey water contain higher levels of arsenic than tap water

Penafiel is owned by Keurig Dr Pepper and sold to Target and Walmart along with vendors. Stark's water is owned and sold in Whole Foods.

The survey confirms the findings of journalists published earlier this year. Consumer reports found that the water from Penafiel and Strakey's waters contained almost double the federal limit of arsenic.
