HMD’s Nokia 6.2 leaks with side-mounted fingerprint sensor

Previews of what is thought to be Nokia 6.3 or 6.4 have leaked online, giving us our best look at HMD Global’s upcoming affordable phone. Renders come to us through Steve Hemmerstoffer in Voice. New to this model is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor built into the power button, which replaces the sensor mounted on the back of the Nokia 6.2 from 2019.

Also, there aren’t many things to separate the Nokia 6.3 / 6.4 from the 6.2, which currently sells for $ 249 on Amazon. There is still a screen with a small cutout in the shape of a drop, a headphone jack and a round array of camera at the back. However, Hemmerstoffer reports that the screen may be larger by 6.45 inches instead of 6.3 inches, and has four cameras at the back, compared to the last three. GSMArena notes that the fourth sensor is probably for macro photos.

Otherwise, it is very similar to its predecessor phone.

There is no indication of how likely the phone will cost as part of this latest leak, however GSMArena reports that it was previously rumored that its price was 249 euros (about $ 306). Hemmerstoffer notes that we need to see a message before April.
