Twitter introduced a dark theme in its mobile apps in 2016, and for its site – next year. But after many people complained that the function of the social network is not a real dark regime – because it is based on a shadow of blue instead of black – CEO Jack Dorsey said him. Finally here is iOS, and it is called "Lights".
It was dark. You asked for a darker one! Drag to the right to see our new dark mode. It's unfolding today. The new Lights Out mode uses the capabilities of OLED screens to display pure black ̵1; they achieve this , excluding pixels entirely to produce the darkest shade of black. It works best on the latest iPhone. If you use one with an LCD display, you will still see a darker color than before. Here's how to switch to this mode:
- Open the Twitter app on your iPhone.
- Drag to the right and go to Settings and privacy> Display and sound.
- Press the dark mode switch and select Lights up option.
You can see the difference between the new and the old dark screen mode below.
] There is no information on when this feature will go to the Android app and the network, but the company told Engadget that it is coming soon. We will follow and let you know when it arrives.
