How to install the public beta of iOS 13 on your iPhone



Apple today surprisingly released the first public beta beta of iOS 13 after just three weeks of beta testing for developers. Initially, Apple announced that the public beta will be available in July, but nevertheless it is here. Read for instructions on how to install the beta beta of iOS 13.

If you are installing the public beta version of iOS 13

In its current form, the public beta of iOS 13 is hard to recommend, iOS 13 still has many performance mistakes and problems, especially with things like audio playback, HomePods and AirPods. You will also experience incompatibility with third-party applications as developers have not yet updated iOS 13.

However, if you want to try out the new features in iOS 13, public beta is the best choice. Here's how to install it on your iPhone or iPod touch.

How to update iPhone to iOS 13:

First, you need to make sure your iPhone can work with iOS 13. Here is the complete list of devices:

  • iPhone XS
  • iPhone XS Max
  • ] iPhone 7

  • iPhone 7
  • iPhone 7
  • iPhone 7
  • iPhone 7
  • generation)

Sorry, if your device is not on this list, you will not be able to run iOS 13 in public beta or when released in September.

If the drive is supported by iOS 13, here's how to install the public beta beta of iOS 13: Safari Website on your iPhone

  • If you are already a member , click Sign In. If not, select "Sign up," enter your Apple ID information and
  • Touch the "Register your devices" link and make sure you are in the iOS tab of the interface
  • Apple will recommend that you back up using iTunes; this is optional but recommended
  • Scroll to the website profile installation tab and select "Download Profile"
  • After you enable download, open the iPhone Settings app
  • you should see a message, that you have a prepared installation profile; touch it and install the account as shown in the screenshots above
  • Your iPhone needs to be restarted to finish installing the account
  • After restarting the iPhone, go to Settings> General> Software Update. Now you should see the iOS 13 update that is ready to be installed.
  • Once you've completed the initial beta beta of iOS 13, you will receive updates all the time, as you would for any other iOS version, expect updates to run approximately every two weeks to September. Have you installed the public beta of iOS 13? Let's find out in the comments.
