You will be forgiven if you forgot that Hulu announced back in January that new ViacomCBS TV channels are coming to its live TV service. They are finally here.
Nine new channels will hit Hulu with Live TV today, a spokesman confirmed to Gizmodo. These will include BET, CMT, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr, Paramount Network, TV Land and VH1. So a lot of music, a little comedy, a few cartoon options and some other things you’ll probably overlook.
In addition, several other channels will be added to Hulu’s existing entertainment supplement, which costs an additional $ 8 per month. These include BET Her, MTV2, NickToons, TeenNick and MTV Classic. This entertainment package now includes more than a dozen additional channel options with the addition of those from ViacomCBS.
Originally Hulu announced a multi-channel deal back in January as part of a multi-year agreement with ViacomCBS. At the time, the company did not specify how adding these new assets would affect, if at all, subscription costs. But at least for most of the heavy attackers, it looks like they will be included in Hulu with Live TV experience at no extra cost – at least for now.
Hulu only with live TV raised its price up to $ 65 a month at the end of last year, so it would be a little too much to charge customers even more just months later. God knows these price increases are right groove On is comingalthough.
