Most of the engineering here is familiar, but there are some interesting pieces.
For example, the display in the Surface Pro 7+ for business is now thinner (not the frames, we’re talking about depth). Microsoft uses the same display technology introduced in Surface Pro X in Surface Pro 7+ for business. The result? Microsoft can push out a larger battery of 50.4 watts per hour. The previous Surface Pro 7 had only 43.2 watts.
Combined with Intel’s 11th-generation processors, which deliver 2.1 times the performance of the Surface Pro 7’s 10th generation, it’s no wonder the Surface Pro 7+ for business gets a 4.5-hour improvement. Even the LTE version is rated for 13.5 hours, three hours longer than the Surface Pro 7.
Microsoft is also showcasing some of the new packaging ideas they use for the Surface Pro 7+ for business, which reduces costs, weighs delivery, is better for the environment and makes it easier for companies to distribute larger quantities of devices.

You can also see where the removable SSD port is and how it all works in the video.
Finally, as in the previous Surface Pro with LTE, Microsoft offers only 4G LTE Advanced in the Core i5 model. The reason is that the Core i7 has a fan and the Core i5 does not. Microsoft puts the 4G LTE modem in place of the fan, which saves space and means that Microsoft did not have to redesign the 4G model.
Business and education customers in select markets in Asia, Europe and North America can order the Surface Pro 7+ through local distributors today, with delivery starting later this week. Pricing starts at $ 899 and reaches $ 2,800 for the new 32 GB / 1TB option.
