A 41-year-old man from Iowa was arrested Saturday on charges of being part of a Trump-supporting mob that stormed the Capitol building on Wednesday.
Des Moines’ Doug Jensen appears to be the man in front of a crowd that entered the Capitol and chased a black police officer up a flight of stairs in several riot videos, including one posted by HuffPost reporter Igor Bobic.
Jenson was wearing a black Q-Anon T-shirt and black cap as he chased the officer up the stairs and into the lobby, where other officers joined the clashes with the intruders. His face appeared in a photographic file released by the FBI on Thursday.
In the now-deleted TikTok video, released Thursday under the username @dougjensen, a man who looks like Jenson suggests they are making him a “poster boy”
He was booked early Saturday for five federal fees, including counting violations and misconduct, according to news reports from the FBI Field Office in Omaha, Nebraska and the Polk County Sheriff’s Office
Jensen published a number of photos in which he participated in the invasion, according to the Des Moines Register. He also posted photos in response to other accounts linked to the Q-Anon conspiracy community on social media, asking if they liked his shirt.
Jensen was among many other rebels arrested in the past two days.
