Donald Trump Jr. visited Savannah and Kenesow on Monday. Vice President Mike Pence fired conservative evangelicals in Atlanta two weeks ago. The president himself recently visited Atlanta in an attempt to address black voters and will return on Friday for a rally in Macon.
Biden also headed to Georgia, sending his wife Jill to Columbus and the Atlanta subway on Monday. This was the campaign’s first personal visit to Georgia during the pandemic.
On Tuesday, Ivanka Trump began her visit to downtown Aquart with a stop at Fuscos Pizza, talking to owners about how the business was developing during the pandemic.
She later talked about a wide range of issues with Perdue at the historic mill. Among other things, they agreed that COVID-1
9 was the most important issue in the last weeks of the campaign. Not surprisingly, both said the president did not get enough credit for stopping the pandemic.
Trump said the president had led “the most extraordinary public-private mobilization since World War II” to increase the nation’s fan supplies and accelerate vaccine development.
“His leadership has saved hundreds of thousands of lives,” Purdue added. The Democrats will never give us credit for that.
During a debate with Perdue, Osof did not actually give Republicans credit on Tuesday.
“More than 210,000 Americans are dead from the David Purdue virus compared to the common flu in public, as he privately buys stocks from a vaccine maker,” Osoff said in a statement to supporters on Tuesday. “He is not sympathetic to the hundreds of thousands of families who have lost so much. He does not take any personal responsibility for lying to us and downplaying the threat. “
Perdue said the deals were made by advisers who work independently, and he later announced that third-party aides would no longer trade shares in individual companies on his behalf. One of Perdue’s advertisements also noted that the Ministry of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Senate Ethics Committee had acquitted him of wrongdoing.
A similar exchange is likely to continue during the November 3rd elections. Early voting in Georgia lasts until October 30, including Saturday, October 24.
