James Harden traded from the Houston Rockets to the Brooklyn Nets in a blockbuster with four teams, according to reports

They traded the 31-year-old with the Brooklyn Nets as part of a deal with four teams, according to numerous reports, including ESPN and The Athletic, citing sources familiar with the deal.

In exchange for Harden, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski announced that Houston had acquired Caris LeVert and Rodions Kurucs of the Nets, Dante Exum of the Cleveland Cavaliers, three first-round spades from the Nets, one Cavaliers first-round pick through the Milwaukee Bucks and four swaps for first round of Nets.

Brooklyn also sent center Jarrett Allen and referred Taurean Prince to Cavaliers as part of the trade, according to Wojnarowski of ESPN.

In a separate deal, Houston traded LeVert and second-round Indiana Pacers for Guard and two-time All-Star Victor Oladipo, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Harden, an eight-time All-Star, was acquired by the Rockets of the Oklahoma City Thunder in 201

While in Houston, he was named the league’s best player for the 2017-18 season and led the Rockets to the playoffs for all eight years.

The trade comes a day after Harden criticized the team.

“We’re just not good enough – obviously, chemistry, talent, just everything – and that’s been clear over the last few games,” he said.

“I love this city. I’ve done literally everything I can. I mean, this situation is crazy. It’s something I don’t think can be fixed.”

The post-game comments were the latest in a series of negative behaviors from the disgruntled star after he arrived late at the team’s training camp, then was removed for four days and fined $ 50,000 by the NBA for violating health and safety protocols in the league days before the start of the season.

The former MVP is now reuniting with former Thunder teammate Kevin Durant and longtime star guard Kyrie Irving in Brooklyn.

CNN Sport contacted the NBA to confirm details of the trade.

Further delays

Meanwhile, the NBA announced on Wednesday that it was postponing its ninth game of the season.

Two games scheduled for Friday between the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors and the Washington Wires and Detriot Pistons have been postponed because continuous contact tracking means the Suns and Wizards don’t have the required eight players to challenge the games.

As of Jan. 6, 16 NBA players have been tested for Covid-19.

The league announced on Tuesday that it has adopted stricter health and safety protocols to fight the spread of the virus.
