Jamestown residents in Boulder County are being told to evacuate because of the new fire in Cal-Wood, emergency services said.
Crews responded Saturday afternoon to fight the fire near Cal-Wood Education Center, 2282 Boulder County Road 87, Boulder County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
South St. Vrain (Colorado 7) is also closed between Peak to Peak and Lyons, including Riverside Drive, Boulder’s Emergency Management Service wrote on Twitter.
Heil Valley Ranch and Hall Ranch were also closed due to the fire, emergency officials said.
There is an evacuation checkpoint located at 3460 N. Broadway ̵
