Paramount, Skydance and 2oth Century Fox have introduced a new trailer for Terminator: Dark Fate which returns the iconic franchise to its roots with Jim Cameron, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton featuring definitely R.
The latest look at the photo, directed by Deadpool Tim Miller, comes on August 29, which is Judgment Day at the Terminator lore – the day (in 1997) when Skynet became itself – realizing, launching the cyborg apocalypse that Sarah Connor of Hamilton has been trying to stop for decades. Expect a lot of noise on Friday about the significance of 8/29 (like this):
The story of The Dark Destiny begins where Cameron broke off in 1991
"When it's all over," she tells him at one point in the trailer, "I'll kill you." The Terminator replied: "I understand."
The Day of Dark Destiny The Day of Doom is 1 November when it hits theaters.
Mackenzie Davis plays the new and improved (and human) version of the perfect killing machine, starring Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna and Diego Boneta and the Bad Robot. The screenplay was born by David Goyer and Justin Rhodes and Billy Ray, with stories by Cameron & Charles Eglee & Josh Friedman & Goyer & Rhodes.
Producers are Cameron and David Allison. Exec's producers are Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Edward Cheng, Miller, John J. Kelly, Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn.
