Kanye West’s Yeezy brand is reportedly suing a former intern for half a million dollars for allegedly sharing the company’s confidential information on social media.
According to a report first published by The Hollywood reporter on Friday (January 15th), Yeezy filed a lawsuit against the Ryan Inwards in Los Angeles County High Court on Friday. The multibillion-dollar clothing brand accuses Inwards, which signed a non-disclosure agreement after becoming an intern last summer, of distributing non-public images of companies on Instagram. NDAs usually restrict one or more parties from disclosing confidential information through the threat of a lawsuit. The lawsuit alleges that the company sent Inwards multiple suspensions and refrained from letters to publish the images, but he refused to remove them at the time.
XXL turned to the Kanye West camp and the legal counsel for comment on the lawsuit.
