In it, the killer Mike raps, “That’s right, huh? Clap your hands, hold a pump – Keanu Reeves, a cyber hand under my sleeve.” Given that Run the Jewels appear as the Yankee and the Brave space band, the reference should be in line with the game’s knowledge. So how can Keanu Reeves exist on the same schedule as Johnny Silverhand?
The text of KR is friendly. This is a cultural reference in the universe of KR, a little-known actor from the collapse era who looked like an unusual resemblance to Johnny Silverhead, and in the years after Johnny̵7;s disappearance was often confused with JS. https://t.co/AxpPvlww97

Mills’ explanation is that Keanu Reeves was in fact “a little-known actor from the collapse era who looked like an unusual resemblance to Johnny Silverhand.” Mills says Reeves was confused with Johnny Silverhand after Rockerboy’s disappearance.
This means that both Johnny Silverhand and Keanu Reeves exist in the Cyberpunk universe. It’s all a little confusing, but it’s a nice nod and a good solution to the potentially disturbing lyrics.
Speaking of Keanu, we need to learn more about Johnny Silverhand in this week’s Night City Wire episode. In other news about Cyberpunk 2077 CD Projekt Red recently confirmed the new release date of the game on December 10, after rumors of a new delay began to swirl.
